Consultancy, Interim and Pilot Programmes
Karen Routledge is available on a part time basis throughout the UK or based within her own office for a variety of Consultancy, Interim or Pilot Programme Delivery Work.
During the last six years her freelance projects have included Extended Services advisory work, supporting LA’s and schools, consultation, project management, strategic development, monitoring and evaluation, the verification of qualifications, awards and Kite Marks, mentoring, rolling out pilot programmes, training, Critical Friendship, network co-ordination and fundraising assistance.
In particular projects have included;

- City of York Extended Schools Consultant
- DCSF Starting schools project though FPI/DCSF including writing the National Train the Trainers course
- Trainer/Facilitator with the Training and Development Agency’s (TDA) Development Directorate, Creative Education, Key Stage Developments,ContinYou and the K'NEX User group,
- Critical Friend for North West Arts within the National College of School leadership Network to Network programme
- Supporting schools and LA’s in the setting up and delivery of Kite Marks
- Mentoring and Critical Friendship of LA’s through the DCSF Quality Development Project
- Writing training guides for LA officers and trainee and newly qualified teachers – Currently on DCSF website
- Facilitated consultation sessions across all client groups for Building Schools for the Future programme
