1.2   Give 3 examples of food from each food group.

1.3   Give examples of the recommended daily allowance for each group.

 

2.  Recognise the impact of an

     unhealthy diet.

 

2.1   State the main food types which may have a negative effect on health.

2.2   State 2 affects of an unhealthy diet on

                 a) babies,

                 b) children,

                 c) adults,

                 d) pregnant women,

                 e) older people.

2.3   Identify 3 symptoms relating to health which can be caused by an

        unhealthy diet.

2.4   Name 3 diseases which can be caused/aggravated by an unhealthy diet

 

3.  Appreciate the actions that can be

     taken to improve health through

     healthy eating, including the

     benefits in the long term.

 

 

3.1   Identify a minimum of 3 healthy cooking methods.
