1.   Work as part of a group.

      language and reading skills.

 

2.1    Share a reading activity from a book or other everyday reading material

         e.g. newspaper.

2.2    Identify reading material appropriate to the child

 

3.   Recognise personal reading skills.  

3.1    Identify personal reading skills used in at least 2 everyday contexts.

 

4.   Recognise opportunities to develop

      a child’s language and reading

      skills

 

 

4.1    List at least 3 opportunities which can offer language and/or reading

         experiences.

5.   Recognise a child’s literacy needs

      and interests.
