2.1    Record and describe a language activity prompted by games, books or other everyday reading material.

3.1    Describe 3 stages of early language development.

4.1    Select an appropriate activity to develop language skills of child e.g. action rhymes

4.2    Use this activity with the child.

5.1    From everyday opportunities, develop a language activity to extend the child’s language and interests.

6.      Explain how a book can be used to extend a child’s language skills.
